London Business School Loves to Learn With Neat Video Tech
Hayley Spooner, Jul 24, 2025

London Business School (LBS) has transformed its meeting and learning spaces with Neat devices and Neat Pulse, delivering simpler, smarter, and more sustainable video experiences. Managed through Neat Pulse and the Utelogy platform, the setup enhances control, data insight, and usability across LBS’s London and Dubai campuses.
We love the camera and audio quality, the auto-framing, and BYOD capability – it eliminates shared PCs and keeps things clean.
Briony Barham, Director of Service Management, LBS

Out with the old, in with the better
The shift began in 2020 when outdated, hard-to-manage equipment created inconsistent and frustrating video experiences. With a need for reliable and scalable technology, the AV team explored options and ultimately landed on Neat after a compelling demo by Neat’s Jordan Deemer.
We built a scoring matrix, and Neat came out on top, not just in tech, but also in service.
Tristan Stokes, AV Teaching Tech & Project Delivery, LBS
Each standard meeting room now features a Neat Bar Gen 2 and a Neat Pad for meeting control, primarily used for Microsoft Teams with BYOD flexibility. The result: half the equipment and cables, faster setup, and far fewer issues.
It’s so simple; just one cable. Nothing to go wrong!
Briony Barham, Director of Service Management, LBS
Smarter remote management with Neat Pulse
LBS uses Neat Pulse’s API and Utelogy to manage devices, monitor rooms, and remotely automate fixes, such as resetting audio or HDMI inputs, without requiring support staff.
Before, we had zero remote control. Now we can detect, diagnose, and fix almost anything from anywhere.
Uain Boswell, AV Support Manager, LBS
With Neat Sense and Utelogy integration, LBS tracks room occupancy, environment, and usage to improve space planning and energy efficiency. The setup also ensures tech flexibility, key to extending device lifespans and reducing waste.
We’re predominantly a Microsoft Teams house now, but Neat’s adaptability helps us plan for the unknown.

Powerful audio and video in large and complex rooms
In its 20+ seat terraced boardroom, LBS installed a Neat Bar Pro, Neat Center, and Neat Pad. The result? Clean, crisp video and audio, despite acoustic challenges.
I was skeptical it would handle a boardroom, but the results were “wow!” Clear sound and seamless switching.
Jonathon Reynolds, Lead Teaching Tech Specialist, LBS

This success prompted plans to expand the setup to more large rooms.
In a repurposed locker room-turned-collab space, a Neat Board 50 replaced the planned projector and screen, earning immediate praise.
This tech changed my life. Where has it been?!
Tim Slyvester, Director of Learning Design & Innovation, LBS
Looking to the future
LBS aims to explore integrations via our Neat App Hub, such as Mural for collaboration and Appspace for visitor management via Neat Frame.
We’re really happy with Neat. Our community just get it and use it.
